* Stock Management: Manage stock levels through purchasing, stock control and vendor relationship management while ensuring stock remains within budget.
* Merchandising and Marketing: Oversee merchandising, in-store promotions and marketing activities to maximise sales and enhance the store's visibility.
* Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditure and track financial performance to ensure accurate banking procedures.
* Human Resources: Recruit, train, supervise and mentor staff while monitoring performance, conducting appraisals and providing coaching or discipline where necessary.
* Customer Service: Manage customer service standards by resolving complaints and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Performance Evaluation: Evaluate product popularity, buying trends and revenue reports to support data-driven decision-making and sales forecasting.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal, workplace health and safety regulations and internal policies to maintain a safe working environment.
