The Competition Enforcement and Financial Services Branch is a key component of the ACCC's strategy to promote competition in Australian markets. The branch conducts investigations into anti-competitive conduct and takes enforcement action, with a focus on the financial services sector.
As an Analyst/Investigator, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for conducting competition investigations and analysis. This includes:
* conducting market studies in the financial services sector
* researching and analysing possible contraventions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010
* working with legal advisers, economists, analysts, and other specialists to provide input into competition cases
You will need to work flexibly to plan, organise, and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. The ability to work as part of a team is crucial.

Salary: $80,893 to $85,774 per annum (plus 15.4% superannuation)
