About us
Founded in 2011, WCS is a small engineering firm based on the far north coast of NSW and with satellite offices in Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Florida and Brazil. We are the globally recognised industry specialists applying AI to optimise water infrastructure capital investments for large and complex water utilities throughout Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Brazil. Our optimisation technology and decision support framework is built upon a team of experienced water infrastructure planning engineers with a broad skill base in hydraulic modelling, data analysis, programming, economic analysis, and geospatial mapping.
We are a close-knit team of problem-solvers who take pride in the innovative solutions we deliver for our customers. Through direct engagement on the world's most challenging water and wastewater master planning projects, we provide an excellent professional development pathway and the opportunity to be a part of a small company with strong growth potential and exceptional industry recognition. We value flexible working arrangements that allow us to work hard when needed and take time to do the things we love in life (other than engineering).
We are currently looking to fill a junior engineering role in Northern NSW, Australia that will provide a structured mentoring program to advance from basic hydraulic modelling services to advanced water and wastewater master planning optimisation. We are looking for someone with previous engineering experience, who values attention to detail, can take the initiative to learn new skills, is motivated to become an industry expert, and will be committed to a stable career with WCS.
