Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to provide exceptional patient care and support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will have current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with qualification in IV Cannulation and experience in surgical or radiology nursing.
This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures, preparing them for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations, and monitoring their recovery post-procedure.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, handling specimen collection, and collaborating closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
In addition, you will promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures, contribute to smooth patient flow, and assist in appointment scheduling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
* Qualification in IV Cannulation (essential)
* Advanced Life Support certification (preferred)
* Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous)
