**About the Role**:
The purpose of this role is to lead and champion the Hair Care category for Dyson ANZ; developing transformational, high growth strategies as we pivot to become more Hair Care centric as an organisation. This involves leading a team of direct reports and leading the wider team indirectly to deliver on long term category strategy and in year commercial goals.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop deep understanding of current Dyson owners & target audiences
- Develop household penetration and multi-machine ownership strategy
- Draw key consumer insights to guide strategy
- Define strategic pillars & size of prize
- Lead range planning and evolution
- Define local positioning incl. local claims approval
- Define NPD size of ambition and GTM strategy
- Define the right media mix to drive awareness, consideration and conversion, balance traditional and digital media, consumer and professional, physical and digital retail.
- Lead of cross functional team to deliver strategies
- Partner with demand planning & supply teams
- Develop category plans grounded in insight
- Draw data from multiple sources and present in a cohesive story from insight to action
- Quantify the building blocks (penetration, volumes, GM and BBI)
- Brief Media incl. Digital, PR & retail activation
- Define inputs & outputs KPIs
- Ensure integrated and seamless activation across all touch points of the consumer journey
- Ensure timely Creative Hub briefing
- Influence Global teams to get buy-in and support ANZ plans when required
- Review of leading and lagging indicators
- Drawing insights from data to inform future plans
- Steering changes needed as part of IBP process
- Sharing 12 month rolling calendar of activation to ensure alignment
- Seeking decisions through context and recommendation sharing
- Partner with Direct and Indirect channel teams
- Plan yearly BBI for the category and ensure that activation priorities based on ROI
- Coach and develop the team. Have authentic conversations, hold your team to account and drive capability
- Identify gaps in knowledge and skills in the team and ensure appropriate development solutions are delivered in a timely manner
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships and have proven influencing skills. You are solutions orientated, creative and innovative in approach to problem solving.
Previous skills & experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Must have previous Marketing Manager experience
- Solid experience in marketing in an international or FMCG retailer/company
- Beauty/luxury experience strongly recommended
- Social media and digital experience a must
- Previous target driven experience
- Strong sales skills to coach a team
- Financial budget management
