Job Description
* Assist in managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Linux-based systems.
* Collaborate with the technology team to ensure system performance and availability.
* Deploy software updates and patches in line with organisational protocols.
* Monitor system security and implement necessary safeguards.
* Support the development and improvement of automation scripts and tools.
* Participate in resolving technical issues and responding to user queries.
* Document processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference.
* Assist in the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Junior Linux Engineer Should Have
* Proficiency in Linux operating systems, with a solid understanding of system administration.
* Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
* Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning tools.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a technology team environment.
* A proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on industry advancements.
