Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Sales professional to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. This role plays a key part in supporting both the sales and service teams, with a strong focus on customer communication, product support, and ensuring smooth order processing across departments.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Job activities include but are not limited to:
* Responding to customer enquiries and coordinating internal sales support
* Assisting with product pricing, stock availability, and lead times to support quoting and order fulfilment
* Processing and tracking customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
* Preparing and managing supporting sales documentation such as invoices, delivery dockets, and service reports
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth order flow and customer updates
* Maintaining accurate sales and invoice records, and assisting with general reporting requirements
* Supporting internal sales processes such as receipting, approvals, and data entry
* Managing daily administrative tasks related to sales operations
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
* Previous experience in an internal sales role, preferably within a technical or engineering environment
* Strong customer service skills and effective verbal and written communication
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise workload.
