The Opportunity
This newly created, permanent full-time position (part-time applicants welcome) is based at our state-of-the-art Mintaro facility. You will work within a supportive team of three experienced vets and skilled farm operators in well-equipped, built-for-purpose facilities.
In this diverse role, you will:
* Perform individual and flock-level health testing, disease monitoring, and treatment.
* Contribute to and maintain a strategic health and welfare management plan.
* Manage preventative care and treatment programs for our working dogs.
* Deliver training to employees on animal health and welfare best practices.
* Develop expertise in sheep medicine, animal welfare science, pathophysiology, nutrition, sustainable farming, and pasture management.

About You
You are a motivated veterinarian who values team success and is looking for a unique career path outside of general practice.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Veterinary Science.
* Eligibility for immediate registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia (VSBSA).
* A genuine interest in sheep production or sheep health management.
Highly Regarded Experience (but not essential):
* Previous experience with animal production systems.
* Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Quality Assurance (QA) protocols.
