**Position Information**:
Singleton Public School is situated in a semi-rural and mining township 60km west of Newcastle, made easily accessible by The Hunter Expressway. The school has a current population 375 students which includes 20 students enrolled in three Multi-Categorical support classes and 13.6% of students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Singleton Public School has a wonderful mixture of experienced and new scheme teachers who work together to foster a quality, learning environment that reflects our school's expectations of Respect, Responsibility and Quality. The school has a focus on explicit teaching and wellbeing and has been part of the Primary Mathematics Specialist Teacher Initiative (PMSTI). The school provides a dynamic curriculum with a broad range of opportunities in, sporting, creative and performing arts and cultural activities.
The school is fortunate to have a very active and supportive P&C who work alongside the whole school community.
The school and staff are active members of the Singleton Learning Community and local Aboriginal Education Consultatative Group (AECG).

Approval to teach Infants and Primary (K-6) with demonstrated knowledge to deliver high quality, literacy and numeracy programs with the use of data to inform differentiated teaching and learning.
Commitment to whole school positive wellbeing programs, with a strong emphasis on effective classroom practice and behaviour management strategies.
Highly developed communication and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents to promote a positive school culture.
Willingness and skills to implement extracurricular programs to engage students in sport.
