AWE is seeking experienced Field Service Fitters to join our growing team. These roles are ideal for high-performing technicians who excel at working independently in the field, enjoy problem-solving under pressure, and take pride in delivering reliable maintenance support directly to site operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering field-based preventative and breakdown maintenance on mobile plant
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and air system faults on-site.
* Performing component change-outs, repairs, and minor rebuilds in the field
* Fault-finding and repairing air conditioning systems on mobile plant
* Liaising with site personnel to prioritise work and minimise downtime
* Completing service reports and maintaining accurate maintenance records

To Be Considered, You Must Have
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Australian recognised trade qualification
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability in a field service environment
* Proven field service experience within mining or heavy mobile plant
* Police check dated within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
