Great opportunity to join a Tier 2 contractor to deliver projects across the SMP water sector.
Having experience in construction and installation of fuel / water / gas piping from the head contractor side is ideal.
A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor or Site Manager to join their growing business on projects in Wollongong and Southern Sydney.
They work across construction and remediation type projects generally across Water, Fuel and Gas Piping as well as projects that are Industrial, Commercial and Defence in nature.
Having similar experience will be an advantage.
Ideal the candidate will have previous experience delivering SMP projects either fuel / water / gas type projects from $2m to $10m.
Responsibilities
Site Management of water, fuel or gas projects from set up to completion
Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
Project progress reporting to the Project Management
Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in similar role
Cert IV in OHS is favourable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Construction Safety Induction (white) card
Current Driver Licence
Ability to obtain Police Clearance
