Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Personal Care Assistant to work in our Wagga Wagga area and surrounding suburbs.
* Perform general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathrooms & kitchens, changing beds, and washing.
* Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
* Prepare meals for our clients.
* Provide social support or respite for family/carers.
* Assist with personal care, including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Comfort interacting with a wide variety of people.
* A reliable team player.
* An understanding of workplace health and safety.
* An Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential).
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program).
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check.
