Financial Analyst Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support strategic decision-making within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting and Analysis: Prepare timely and accurate management reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
* End of Month Reporting: Complete journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations on time.
* Statutory Returns: Prepare statutory returns as required.
* Project Reconciliation and Debt Management: Ensure accurate project reconciliations and manage debtors effectively.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting systems.
* Senior Management Support: Provide financial modelling, cost analysis, and business case development support to senior management.
* Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Qualifications: CA ANZ or CPA qualification preferred.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
* Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial data.
* Software Proficiency: Financial software and ERP system proficiency, MYOB Acumatica experience preferred.
* Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modelling techniques.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
