Reporting to the Executive Chef you will assist in the preparation and service of high-quality dishes for our functions and busy restaurant. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone looking to grow their culinary skills in a professional and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of taste and presentation
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
* Assist with stock control, rotation, and inventory
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
* Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Contribute ideas for new dishes and menu improvements
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar role
* Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Culinary qualification is a plus but not essential
