Job Description
All about your role:
Cater Care Services seeks to appoint a culinary professional with leadership experience to the role of Head Chef at our new contract mining village operation in NSW .This is a role based on 14/7 roster, FIFO from Adelaide or DIDO from Mildura and surroundings.
Food preparation and presentation (breakfast, crib, dinner and functions)Adherence to dietary requirements (allergies, special requests)Assist with stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking Maintain a clean kitchen, equipment and utensilsAdherence to legislated food hygiene and general safety practicesFast, effective service provided with a smileAssisting the broader team as required
All About You
Certificate III Commercial CookeryFood Safety CertificationMin 3 years post-qualification experience in executing all aspects of kitchen operations and food preparation and service, preferably in a remote environmentA manual drivers’ license (preferred) and forklift license (desirable) Ability willingness to work well alone, and as part of a teamA commitment to genuine, friendly & professional customer serviceA motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitudeResourcefulness, resilience and creative thinkingAbility to work in a fast-paced, challenging & time-sensitive environmentPride in personal appearance & hygiene Successful Candidates will be contacted *
