Manager, Scholarly Communication and Research Outputs
As a leading figure in scholarly communication and research outputs, you will have the opportunity to progress an ambitious agenda at Deakin University. With a strong focus on open research, you will oversee the implementation of recommendations from two years' work in the Open Access and Research Data Management Taskforces.
You will lead a team of high-performing staff with diverse subject matter expertise, providing research support services for the Library. You will also be responsible for two complex projects progressing the open agenda across the university, and serve as a member of the Information Leadership Team.

You will promote inclusive and respectful resolution of issues to advance the university's research agenda.
The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/training and project management experience. They must have demonstrated experience supporting research in a university or similar environment, as well as extensive knowledge of current research issues in higher education, trends in scholarly communication and Open Research.
