What's on the Menu for You?
We are looking for dedicated and experienced Chefs and Cooks to be responsible for the overall management of the food services/kitchen and preparing nutritious and quality meals for individuals in accordance with sanitary and health-related protocols.
Your Responsibilities Include:
* Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking, and delivering food to patients/residents in a timely fashion
* Create meals while collaborating with dietitians to meet individual dietary needs
* Excellent communication and organisation skills in a fast-paced environment
* Ensuring impeccable food safety and sanitation standards are met
Other requirements:
* Cert III in Cookery for Cooks and Cert IV in Cookery for Chefs (minimum)
* 3 months of Aged Care/Acute experience or 6 months of industry experience (minimum)
* National Police Clearance (for Hospital work)
* Criminal Clearance Record Screening Card (for Hospital work)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (for Aged Care/Disability facility work)
* NDIS Orientation (for Aged Care/Disability facility work)
* Mask Fit (for Hospital work)
* Manual Handling (in-house training provided)
* Current Working with Children Check (Sited & Scanned) for Hospital work
* Immunisation Evidence for hospital work (Vaccination Certificate): Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR (if non-immune), Pertussis (dTpa), Varicella (if non-immune)
* Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations and current Influenza vaccination
