At Treehouse we believe every young person deserves a safe place to belong. Treehouse provides therapeutic homes for those recovering from trauma, and we need carers who want to make a real difference. In this role, you will:
* Provide direct care and supervision to young people in a residential setting.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans.
* Assist with daily activities, support their understanding of self-care, education, and recreational activities.
* Promote a safe and positive living environment.
* Build trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:
* Valid NSW Paid Working with Children Check and National Police Check or being willing and eligible to obtain one prior to commencement
* Consent to be added to the Residential Care Workers Register
* Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepover)
* Valid Australian Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle (Our house locations can be outside of public transport routes)
* Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.)
* Experience working with young people/children
* Experience working in other support work related fields, i.e. disability, mental health, aged care and child care
