Tyrepower Albany is looking for an experienced salesperson to join our family-owned business in a customer service & sales role. Immediate start.
We are offering a permanent full-time position, working 8am-5pm (1hr lunch) Mon-Fri and alternating Saturday mornings (1.5x). Rate will vary depending on experience.
* Manual drivers license
* Be punctual & reliable
* Have good communication skills and be well presented
* Must be able to work on Saturday mornings
* Willing to undertake ongoing training and development
* Must disclose anything that would affect your ability to perform the required duties (i.e. back injuries leg, knee etc.)
* Be able to supply references
* Forklift ticket is a plus
* Wheel alignment and/or tyre fitting experience valued but not critical
Your role will include:
-Customer service in-store, or via phone or email.
-Providing suitable options & solutions to suit our customers needs & requirements (sales function)
-Assist with stock ordering & handling
-Communicate with other members of the team to manage jobs
-Maintaining a clean work environment
-Reporting to the manager, assisting with other tasks as required
***If applicable with tyre fitting and/or wheel alignment experience, duties related to these workshop tasks reporting to the workshop manager
-You will be required to work a 5 1/2 day roster one week, 5 the next - (Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5:00pm and every second Saturday 8.00am to 12.00pm)
-Hour lunch, rostered to provide coverage at the front desk
