Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented a career-enhancing opening for Full-Time Day-Shift Maintenance Electrician at their Broadmeadows, VIC facility. Due to industry demand, the business is adding to their 1500+ employees during this growth phase.
Hourly Rate: $55-62 + super + OT
Day Shift: 5/6am - 1.30/2.30pm, Monday to Friday
Workday: 8-hour shifts, 38-hour week
Key Responsibilities
* Perform day-to-day fault finding and implement improvements to electrical and automation systems
* Execute preventative maintenance and project works, primarily scheduled for weekends
* Make necessary changes to PLCs, SCADA and existing code
* Program HMIs and develop short programs for testing and trials
* Provide support to the National Automation Engineer and progressively undertake more advanced automation tasks/projects as skills develop
Ideal Candidate
* Full A-grade electrical license and have a good understanding fault finding and repair of high-speed production machinery, such as conveyors, robots, packaging
* Energy to thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment
* Demonstrated experience in Motor control, PLC (troubleshooting/fault-finding), SCADA, HMI and VSDs
* Very positive attitude, motivated by continuous learning and communicates positive energy to the team
* Willingness to work in cold environments
