High-Value Estimator Opportunity
Our organization is seeking an experienced estimator to join our construction team due to continuous growth and expansion of commercial, industrial, and high-end residential projects across various regions.
About the Role
* Develop accurate and competitive proposals for HVAC/mechanical projects with values ranging from $500k to $15M+
* Utilize specialized software for take-off estimates
* Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Conduct value engineering and risk analysis
* Work closely with project delivery teams for a seamless handover
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' dedicated estimating experience in mechanical/HVAC
* Proven track record of pricing commercial or industrial mechanical projects
* Experience pricing mechanical projects with values between $500k and $2M
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian standards and best practices
* Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Bluebeam, and ACADS CAMEL+
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Australian work authorization required at the time of application
Desirable Qualifications
* Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a relevant trade background
* Experience with Design & Construct or ECI projects
