As a Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for delivering annual maintenance targets for equipment. This includes providing technical advice to the Long-Term Planner and Maintenance Superintendents to optimise equipment availability and reliability in your area.
The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining mechanical maintenance practices compliant with the Coal Mining Act and Regulations. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with mechanical engineering practices at the mine, maintaining legal standards for mechanical plant, equipment, and personnel, and establishing and maintaining compliant, safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical engineering systems and procedures.
