ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICER Full-Time | Mandurah, WA | Apex Radiology | Leading Health Care Provider
We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Medical Billing Finance team in a full-time role based at our Head Office in Mandurah with an immediate start if available.
About The Role
Your responsibilities will include processing and issuing invoices and statements, following up with debtors including organizations, Medicare, Health Funds, and unpaid patient accounts. Your duties will include:
* Complex billing for hospital sites
* Debt recovery
* Claim rejections
* Invoicing
* Site support for billing queries
* Liaising with external stakeholders, including customer service queries

This is a FULL-TIME role working Monday to Friday .
About You
You should have at least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, with high accuracy and proficiency in MS Excel. You will need:
* A solid understanding of receivables and debt recovery processes
* An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
* Experience or willingness to learn debtor recovery
* Experience with Private Health Fund claiming/Eclipse (desirable)
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* A commitment to data accuracy and high-quality work
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in Radiology or the healthcare industry, and knowledge of Medicare billing & MBS, would be advantageous but is not essential. This role offers a chance to move from front desk duties to a professional finance/medical billing team.
