A respected and well‑established legal practice is seeking an experienced and organised Office Manager with strong accounts and bookkeeping skills. This is a pivotal position within a close‑knit team, offering stability and variety in a professional environment.
Your New Role
As the Office Manager, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace. You will oversee administrative processes, reception, technology platforms, service providers, and the overall presentation of the practice.
A key focus of the role includes leading the implementation of new AML/CTF requirements, supporting compliance processes, and driving continuous improvement in systems and workflows.
You will also play a crucial part in the firm's financial administration, including trust accounting tasks, Xero data entry, BAS support, PEXA finalisation and liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Experience in office management, legal administration or accounts
* Understanding of trust accounting or legal compliance (advantageous)
* Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder skills
* Strong organisational ability with a proactive, professional approach
* Confidence working across MS Office and practice management systems (LEAP desirable)
* High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
* Current Queensland driver's licence
