The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Aircraft Structural Fitters to join the AH-64E Apache sustainment and support team.
Program Overview
The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

Responsibilities
4. Manage the delivery of Aircraft Life Support Equipment services around the operational requirements of Apache.
5. Be competent in all aircraft life support processes inclusive of aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance, modification and planning documentation.
6. Be able to work within a dynamic team and be able to respond effectively to changing requirements.
7. Perform installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of life support equipment including ejection seats, survival kits, parachute systems, oxygen systems, life rafts and related fittings.
8. Conduct scheduled servicing, functional checks and rigging in accordance with technical manuals, MELs and approved procedures.
9. Carry out detailed record-keeping and logbook entries for life support equipment, ensuring full traceability and regulatory compliance.
10. Support fleet operations during turnarounds, exercises and deployments; may include on-call or rostered weekend work.
11. Liaise with airworthiness engineers, logisticians and aircrew to resolve defects and improve equipment reliability.
Qualifications
12. Must hold a Cert IV in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (or equivalent).
13. Apache Aircraft Familiarisation (CoA Provided).
14. A minimum of ten years of military or commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
15. Proven experience working with aircraft life support equipment.
16. Experience in maintaining and manufacturing soundproofing, soft furnishings and aircraft flooring (highly desirable).
17. Explosive ordnance supervisor (highly desirable).
18. Experience with ADF products and processes on larger aircraft or rotary-wing platforms (desirable).
