Pine Gap is one of the AFP's most critical protection sites, located outside of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. As a Protective Service Officer (PSO), you will detect, deter and disrupt any criminal activity and respond to criminal and national security threats. Your role will include:
• performing high-visibility vehicle, foot, or bike patrols,
• providing static protection services,
• acting as a first responder in matters of national security,
This position offers a starting salary of over $119,000 per annum after graduation from the AFP College. This is inclusive of a base salary, 22% composite, a Remote Localities Allowance, a Remote Defence Capability Payment, and Use of Force Allowance. Penalties and overtime are paid in addition. 15.4% superannuation will also be paid, including during all periods of maternity leave.
*The annual payment of the UoF allowance is dependent on members successfully holding and maintaining a UoF certification.
Eligibility

• Have attained a minimum educational level of a Year 10 Certificate, or higher.
• Hold a valid Australian driver's licence.
