Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our client's team, a market leader in their sector with multiple ICT projects underway.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain financial management processes, reporting, and forecasting across programs, educating vendors and workstream leads.
2. Support the improvement of financial and resource management processes, templates, workflows, tools, design, and implementation.
3. Track and report monthly financial performance against baseline.
4. Compile program budget and forecast estimates to completion.
5. Review vendor costs against milestones, linking scope and schedule to financial performance.
6. Maintain an audit trail of budget changes and approved contingency use.
7. Review risks and issues with Program Directors, including scope changes, vendor variations, or internal resource changes that may impact financial performance.
Requirements:
* Strong background in project accounting and commercial acumen.
* Confident partnering with non-finance leaders.
* Experience using SAP and strong PMO support track record.
* ICT Project Accounting experience is advantageous.
Duration:
This is an immediate start for a minimum of 12 months.
