Nerang in home care educator required

Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not-for-profit approved in-home care provider on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas. In Home Child Care is an education service funded by the Australian Government Department of Education.

Position located in Nerang caring for one 11‐year‐old child. The role is intended to be long‐term; the current educator has been with the family for two years and is expecting a child.

Provide before‐school and after‐school care Monday to Friday, with occasional appointments as directed by the family.

Hourly rate: $38.00 per hour.

• Morning shift: 6:00am – 9:00am (care required 7:45am – drop off, minimum 3 hours).
• Afternoon shift: 3:00pm – 6:00pm (approx. 30 to 35 hours per week).
• School holidays: full days, approx. 50 hours per week.

Job type: Part time.

• Certificate III in Children's Services (ACECQA approved)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
• Blue Card
• Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
• Public liability insurance (once successfully placed)
• Medical Clearance
• Child Protection refresher required every 2 years
• ABN (this role is for a self‐employed/contractor)
• Photo ID
• PRODA RA (office will assist with this)
• Be over the age of 18 years old
