About the role
Carmody Lawyers is a specialised litigation firm that provides legal services to a broad variety of commercial and personal clients. We provide expert advice and representation to our clients in a variety of practice areas including commercial law, civil litigation, insolvency, property and criminal law.
Our thriving and expanding litigation practice requires a self-motivated and ambitious lawyer to assist with its commercial litigation.
We are currently seeking a 1-3 PQE solicitor to join our team.
The successful candidate will ideally be able to approach litigation in a proactive manner and have an interest in corporations law.

What you'll be doing
* Manage a diverse caseload of commercial matters, including proceedings in court.
* Undertake substantive legal work and manage your own workflow whilst working within a supportive team.
* Prepare and file court documents, negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and service.
What we're looking for
* An admitted legal practitioner with a current legal practicing certificate.
* 1 – 3 PQE with commercial experience, ideally in commercial litigation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Committed to delivering exceptional client service.
* Experience with LEAP is an advantage but not essential.
