ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Mining Skills Australia (MSA) is looking for an experienced, full‐time Sales Representative to work closely with the Senior Management Team to service our diverse client base. MSA is a progressive and innovative training and resource development company based in Brisbane with a dynamic work environment and team. This role will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional sales and customer service to our internal and external customers, while supporting the Managing Directors in developing business relationships.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* 2-3 years of experience in a sales, client relationship or business development role, demonstrating effective customer and client contact, liaison and networking skills
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build genuine rapport
* Driven, customer-focused, professional and performance‐oriented individual
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Outstanding time‐management, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and with deadlines
* Intermediate level experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Teams
* Willingness to travel for work
* Australian resident with "right to work" permit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Engage face‐to‐face with prospective customers to understand needs and recommend suitable products or services
* Conduct client meetings, road shows, exhibitions, product demonstrations and presentations to generate interest and leads
* Prospect, qualify and convert new customers
* Identify and capture new sales opportunities and build genuine relationships
* Collaborate with Department Managers to close sales
* Execute sales plans and initiatives to meet monthly sales targets
* Achieve or exceed individual and team sales KPIs
* Maintain strong, professional customer relationships throughout the sales cycle
* Deliver high levels of customer service and ongoing support
* Maintain accurate customer records and provide sales activity reporting
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and market opportunities
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs
* Travel as required.
