Reporting to the Branch Manager, as a Counter/Internal Salesperson, you will provide efficient and exceptional customer service to our large and varied customer base. Key responsibilities: Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries. Counter sales, including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set. Sales administration tasks such as preparing quotes, processing sales orders, and raising invoices. Answering telephone and email enquiries. Actioning customer requests and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email. Stock control, including re-stocking shelves and packing orders. General ad-hoc duties and requests as required. What you’ll need to succeed: You’re a driven and passionate professional with experience working in a sales or customer-facing role. You have previous experience in the Building, Industrial and Construction Supply Industries (desirable). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, so your ability to build relationships and establish rapport is second to none. Client-focused and a real team player, you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your clients. You are excellent at managing your own time and a real “self-starter”; you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done. You’ll hold a valid driver’s licence, with a forklift licence considered a plus. Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role.
