About the RoleAs the Accounts Payable Manager, you will lead the Accounts Payable team of 6FTE and oversee the end-to-end AP function, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient processing across the business.
This role also plays a critical part in a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation, including the implementation of Coupa, making it ideal for a hands-on AP leader with systems and change experience.
Key Responsibilities
You will be accountable for the delivery of the full Accounts Payable function, including:
* Leading the Accounts Payable team and managing day-to-day operations
* Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
* Managing payment runs
* Completing invoice and statement reconciliations in line with business processes
* Providing responsive, high-quality service to internal stakeholders
* Preparing, reviewing, and distributing month-end reporting
* Supporting interpretation of reports and resolving issues
* Identifying, planning, and implementing process and system improvements
* Developing individual and team capability through coaching and development activities
* Delivering formal training initiatives in consultation with People & Culture
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager
* Demonstrated people leadership, facilitation, and team-building capability
* Advanced English literacy and numeracy
* Hands-on Coupa experience (highly regarded)
* Strong background in team development, training, and performance management
* Experience managing supplier relationships and major supplier reconciliations
* Exposure to Epicor and DocStar (highly regarded)
