Role Overview
This is a vital project role ensuring strong financial governance, commercial performance and transparent decision‐making. Reporting to the CFO – APAC, this role partners with the Project Director and Project Managers, acting as the primary financial authority on the project, providing insightful analysis and trusted financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead project financial control, governance and performance monitoring.
* Prepare, review and challenge monthly forecasts, cost-to-complete and cashflow.
* Support and challenge monthly valuations, claims and cashflow forecasts.
* Maintain and continuously improve monthly and weekly cashflow forecasts.
* Support monthly project review presentations and executive reporting.
* Assist with future tendering, pricing, variations and commercial evaluations.
Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in a project/commercial finance role.
* Experience supporting large, complex infrastructure or engineering projects.
* Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
* Professional certification (CA, CPA or equivalent).
* Strong expertise in project forecasting, cost control, cashflow and financial risk.
* Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information to non‐financial stakeholders.
* Strong executive‐level communication, influence and business‐partnering skills.
* A collaborative, proactive and solutions‐focused approach.
* Experience with project management systems (Workbench desirable).
* Advanced MS Excel skills.
