You'll play a vital role in keeping the community clean, safe and sustainable. Working across commercial routes, you'll operate specialised vehicles and ensure reliable waste services that residents and businesses depend on.
What You'll Be Doing
* Collect commercial, domestic and litter waste
* Operate waste vehicles safely and efficiently
* Complete scheduled runs using maps and sheets
* Conduct vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
* Maintain accurate daily work and service records
* Support team with additional collection requirements
* Provide high‐quality customer service interactions
* Participate in rotating Saturday collection roster
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
* HR class driver licence (essential)
* Experience driving rear loader waste trucks
* Strong commitment to workplace safety practices
* Ability to work independently and in teams
* Clear communication and radio operation skills
* Experience in busy urban driving environments
* Clean driving and safety record history
* Valid National Police Clearance
