Paediatrician
to lead paediatric services at Mount Isa Hospital as
Director of Paediatrics

About The Role
As Director of Paediatrics, you will:
* Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for paediatric services.
* Manage inpatient and outpatient care, child development programs, outreach services, and emergency retrieval coordination.
* Lead a multidisciplinary team including Staff Specialists, registrars, and interns.
* Foster teaching, training, and research opportunities in collaboration with James Cook University.
* Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
About You
* FRACP in Paediatrics or equivalent, with current AHPRA specialist registration or eligibility for full, unrestricted specialist registration.
* Demonstrated experience in paediatric medicine across a broad range of conditions.
* Proven leadership skills, preferably with Head of Department experience.
* Commitment to culturally safe care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Ability to work in a regional and remote setting.
