We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the production of custom cabinetry and detailed joinery solutions for residential and commercial projects.About the Role:We are seeking a qualified Cabinet Maker to construct and install high-quality cabinets and furniture components.
The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, operating machinery, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard in both workshop and onsite settings.Key Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting drawings and work orders to determine job requirements; Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, MDF, and other engineered wood products; Setting up and operating woodworking machines and tools, including CNC machinery; Assembling parts to form sections of cabinetry and furniture; Installing finished cabinetry on residential and commercial sites; Applying finishes such as sealants, lacquers or other coatings as required; Fitting hinges, runners, handles, and other hardware components; Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and ensuring quality control of finished products; Collaborating with other trades and project managers as needed.Key Skills and Experience:To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in cabinetry or joinery work; Strong technical skills with experience operating woodworking tools and machinery; The ability to work independently and as part of a team; Attention to detail, a high standard of workmanship, and strong time management skills; Fluent in English.Please send your resume only if you meet the above requirements.
This is a full-time role, with a remuneration in the range of $75,000 to $80,000 (depending on skills, experience and qualifications) plus superannuation.
