The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced administration professional to join our dynamic and rewarding healthcare environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to elevate their career and who thrives in efficiently managing a busy practice, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong, trust-based relationships.

Key Responsibilities

* Executive Support: Offer dedicated one-to-one support to an Orthopaedic Surgeon, managing comprehensive schedules, orchestrating appointments, and preparing for meetings and presentations. Serve as the primary point of contact between the surgeon, medical personnel, patients, and external partners.
* Multi-Site Coordination: Efficiently manage responsibilities across multiple locations, adapting to the unique needs and protocols of each site. Guarantee consistent communication and coordination among sites.
* Clinic and Theatre List Management: Schedule and organise patient appointments and surgical bookings. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient operations of clinics and surgical theatres. Address cancellations or schedule changes promptly, minimising impact on service delivery.
* Patient and Operation Accounts Management: Supervise all aspects of patient billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage insurance claims and maintain communication with insurance providers when needed. Keep and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and patient accounts. Act as the initial first point of contact for patients, providing information, assistance and support. Address patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction. Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all patient interactions.
* Document Preparation and Management: Produce high-quality typed communications, including patient correspondences, surgical notes, and medical reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate, current, and adheres with legal and organisational standards.
* Additional Support to Other Practices: Offer assistance to other practices within the organisation as needed. Adjust to varying team dynamics and environments, maintaining exceptional professionalism. Proactively identify and implement enhancements in procedures and workflows within the practice. Participate in team meetings and organisational initiatives focused on elevating service quality and patient care.
