About Us :PACT provides support to vulnerable victims and witnesses of crime throughout their court journey.About You :Currently studying Web Design, Marketing, Business or similarPosition Summary :The PACT Administration & Publications Support Officer (APSO) plays a vital role in the organisation's mission to support children and adults who have been victims of crime as they navigate the criminal justice system in Queensland.
The PACT APSO is responsible for administrative and operational activities in support of the PACT team as they manage and coordinate volunteer support services provided to children who are victims of crime as they give evidence.
This role involves working with Microsoft office products and providing general support for the PACT team.Key Requirements :Experience using Canva and other graphic design programmes.Experience in Web designStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and build rapport with a diverse range of individuals.Proficiency in MS Office.Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to the organisation's mission.Ability to pass a criminal background check.Job Responsibility :Purpose of the roleThe purpose of this position is to ensure consistency and quality of PACT presentations and communications, and, general administrative support to the team.Key Responsibilities:Publication Support:Provide support to the organisation with regard to publications including:Assist in the preparation of documents, reports and presentations.Maintaining the PACT website.Assisting with any Social Media posts (graphics etc).Assisting with the PACT Annual Report.Administrative Support:Provide administrative support to the organisation, including but not limited to, answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the office environment.Assist in the coordination of office events and activities.Perform other general office tasks as assigned by management.People and Culture:Promotion of the organisation's values and principles among internal and external stakeholders.Foster a collaborative, supportive, and, professional culture within the PACT team.Lead by example, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to the well-being of victims and volunteers.Job Functions :AdminJob Benefits :PACT also provides employee benefits through the Happy HR/Flare Platform along with NFP Salary Packaging which allows employees to salary package up to $15,900 per annum.Selling Point :Gain some paid, hands on work experience in your field of study!Contact :Kelly Brannen
