Role Overview:
This challenging role involves promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families in a local authority setting.
As an Experienced Social Worker, you will conduct timely assessments in line with relevant frameworks and guidance. This will involve working closely with relevant agencies, the child/young person, and their family to ensure comprehensive care plans are developed.
* Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families
* Carry out timely assessments and develop care plans
* Engage in direct, child-centred work with children and young people
* Practice within established professional capabilities and knowledge statements
* Manage a complex and varied caseload
* Support Newly Qualified Social Workers
* Maintain high-standard case records and produce reports
* Work in an anti-oppressive manner
You will be required to have a Social Work Qualification or equivalent, understanding of relevant legislation, and be registered or eligible for registration.
