The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean peace of mind for every Australian.A new role awaitsThe Transformation Programs Branch has an upcoming vacancy for an EL2 Director-Governance within the Program Management Office (PMO).The Transformation Programs Branch sits under the Integrity and Payments Transformation Division and is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Crack Down on Fraud (CdoF) Program, including coordinating program management, operations, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and change management. CDoF aims to embed preventative measures against fraud and non-compliance of NDIS, making it easier for participants to use and pay for NDIS supports accurately, fairly, and transparently; and ensuring providers are appropriately paid for services delivered.Where you can add valueThe EL2 Director Governance will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. It will also represent and negotiate on behalf of the NDIA to advance its interests in various forums.Key duties include but are not limited to:Setting strategic direction and priorities for the Governance function in line with division and agency goals.Establishing and operationalising governance forums and structures, maintaining documentation, preparing program updates, and reporting.Managing the program risk and issues register, engaging with stakeholders.Developing and implementing governance frameworks, standards, and supporting program delivery, including managing the Gateway Review and assurance process.Preparing various documents such as business cases, program updates, submissions, briefs, and other corporate documentation.Salary range: $142,064 - $161,291 (plus 15.4% superannuation)Ongoing and Non-Ongoing roles availableInclusive and Diverse workplaceOur participants, Our people, Our purposeWe support over 600,000 Australians with disabilities, aiming to improve their quality of life and participation.A new role awaitsSame as above, details repeated.Where you can add valueSame as above, details repeated.Enough about us, let’s talk about youIdeal candidates will have experience in developing governance frameworks, excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, and high-level decision-making skills.
