About the role
Based at Vantage Bloomdale (Diggers Rest), this role is responsible for ensuring the facilities at our newest lifestyle community meet the Vantage standards and expectations of our community.
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Completing day-to-day community maintenance works to ensure community presentation is in line with Vantage standards
* Gardening, landscaping, basic repairs, pool testing and servicing, communal facilities cleaning
* Maintaining assets, plan. machinery and equipment in line with relevant maintenance schedules
* Main point of contact for our residents as they begin to move into this new community
Skills and experience
* Previous experience in Facilities Management, Maintenance / Community Caretaker roles preferably in LLC, Retirement Living, Holiday Parks, Property Management or related industries would be advantageous
* Ability to complete physically demanding tasks and work outdoors
* Knowledge of garden and pool maintenance
* Understanding of WHS&E requirements as relevant to management and maintenance of residential communities
* Knowledge and understanding of technical systems that contract and support communities such as fire and security systems.
In addition, you will have:
* Current valid 'class c' drivers licence
* WHS&E Certificate or qualification (highly regarded)
