Operations Manager Role
We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our centre, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive Planned Preventive Maintenance Programme for all plant and equipment items, providing technical and maintenance advice to support the centre management team and client, conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance is carried out to a high standard, and overseeing engineering, risk management, and compliance.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and manage a preventative maintenance strategy for all plant and equipment items
* Act as the primary point of contact for technical and maintenance advice, supporting the centre management team and client
* Conduct regular site visits to ensure cleanliness and maintenance is carried out to a high standard
* Oversee engineering, risk management, and compliance functions
* Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
* Coordinate emergency procedures and evacuation training
* Support sustainability initiatives
* Manage contracts with external contractors effectively
* Utilise technology to address tenant requests promptly
* Assist in the development and implementation of capital works projects
About You
We are looking for someone with extensive shopping centre management experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in maintaining optimal centre performance. A degree in a relevant field and certifications in facilities management would be highly regarded. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this role.
