The Role:
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will demonstrate strong leadership and business awareness, ensuring operational objectives are met while supervising and coordinating a team of approximately 10 staff. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, presentation, and functionality across the property.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage the resort's maintenance program
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules
* Carry out general maintenance and repairs (motel rooms, caravan park, common areas)
* General carpentry and basic plumbing tasks
* Vehicle servicing and upkeep
* Porterage duties and unloading stock
* Staff supervision, training, and rostering
* Work closely with management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
* Heavy lifting and manual handling
* Other duties as required
About You:
* Previous maintenance experience in a similar role
* Strong leadership and team coordination skills
* Hands‐on and proactive approach
* Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
* Able to work long days with early starts
* Comfortable working in hot, remote conditions
