Bluefin Resources is assisting a high-profile NSW Government department to source a skilled IT Service Strategy Planning Specialist to assist with End-User services planning, pricing, and governing the pipeline of recent services, and the decommissioning of services. Experience and understanding of end-user services (productivity, mobility, messaging, collaboration), Service Design, Service Management and a level of Finance experience is essential for this position.
The position is available for an initial 6-months contract with a strong possibility of extension. The remuneration range for this role is $900 - $1000 per day + superannuation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the development of service strategy for end user services with support from the Infrastructure Strategy & Architecture team.
Assess customer needs and emerging services and technologies in the market and determine service offerings and the capabilities needed to support them.
Contribute to the development of service design artefacts, including service definition and service design packages and pricing.
Monitor the achievement of business objectives for services in the portfolio.
Contribute to the development of risk management plans, establishment of risk controls and performance of risk mitigation activities, to ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies.
Review and analyse supplier capacity models and plans to ensure optimal capacity management practices are being performed by suppliers
Conduct planning for asset investment to address capacity or refresh requirements, and the establishment of new capabilities or services.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or IT Service Management certification/s
Demonstrated knowledge of end user services, collaboration and productivity platforms and products, cross-functional architectural elements, and service consumption patterns.
Demonstrated knowledge in the development of service design artefacts, including service definition and service design packages, to determine how services should be delivered.
