Hunter New England Oral Health and Awabakal Aboriginal Medical Services have teamed up for years to bring top-quality dental care to the community! The Awabakal Dental Clinic, located right inside the Awabakal Medical Service in Hamilton, is a fully equipped 3-chair facility. With doors open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the clinic is dedicated to keeping smiles healthy and bright.

Ready to take the lead and make a real impact? As the Dental Assistant Clinic Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the Awabakal Dental Clinic, guiding and supporting our team of Dental Assistants and Administration Officers to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
We're looking for someone with a Certificate III in Dental Assisting who is either working towards or eager to obtain a Certificate IV—and we'll help you get there! Through our Clinic Coordinator Pathway, you'll receive financial support, study leave, and development days to help you grow in your career. This is your chance to step up, lead with confidence, and make a difference in community dental care!
**About you**:
A crucial part of the role is the ability to establish culturally appropriate connections with community members and patients, fostering trust and accessibility to essential health services. This role also offers the opportunity to share cultural knowledge and expertise with the team, helping to deliver best-practice care tailored to the needs of the community.
Your experience in Dental Assisting will be invaluable in providing excellent patient care, as well as offering supervision and support to the clinic team. We are seeking someone who is experienced in Dental Assisting and has a solid clinical and technical understanding, and we are happy to work with you to develop your management skills.
