Bendigo Bank seeks a highly accomplished Senior Process Improvement Specialist to lead and deliver significant improvements across the organisation. This pivotal role demands a proven leader with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt expertise to spearhead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
You will be responsible for end-to-end process design and re-engineering, driving measurable gains in efficiency, cost reduction, customer experience enhancement, and risk mitigation. This includes championing a culture of continuous improvement and leveraging advanced analytics and AI solutions to optimise processes. You will work closely with senior leaders and executives, influencing strategy and reporting on progress. Success in this role requires experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, ideally within the financial services industry. Expertise in leveraging AI solutions for process design and improvement is highly regarded.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic process improvement specialist who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end process design and re-engineering projects utilising Lean Six Sigma Black Belt expertise.
* Mentor and coach process improvement specialists and business SMEs in Lean Six Sigma practices.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
* Collaborate with senior leaders and executives, influencing strategy and reporting on progress.
* Leverage advanced analytics and AI solutions to optimise processes (highly regarded).
To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification: Essential. Please include where your certification was obtained.
* Proven Project Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and delivering cross-functional projects of significant complexity within a large organisation. Provide specific examples with challenges overcome and quantifiable results.
* Financial Services / Heavily Regulated Industries: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
* Exceptional Leadership and Communication: Ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences, influence stakeholders at all levels, and build consensus around process improvement initiatives. Mentoring experience is a plus.
* Advanced Analytics & AI Expertise: Experience leveraging AI solutions to enhance process optimization and decision-making.
* Human-Centred Design: If you have Human-Centred Design certification, highlight understanding and experience with this approach.
We offer flexible work options with a hybrid model of minimum 60% on-site attendance at our Head Office locations.
This role is a Full-time, 12 Month Contract (76 hours p/w).
