**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Travel to customers and potential customer's facilities providing them with information and support as required to secure and maintain business
- Compiling lists of prospective customer / client businesses using directories and other sources
- Acquiring and updating knowledge of Employers' and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions
- Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities
- Assessing customers' / clients' needs and recommending and explaining goods and services to them
- Monitoring customers' / clients' changing needs and competitor activity, and reporting these developments to sales management
- Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
- Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services;
- Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services
- Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolving any problems arising
- Preparing sales reports and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred
- Promoting and selling their company's goods and services such as food supplies and beverages
- Using directories and other outlets source to compile lists of prospective business clients
- Visiting clients and retail outlets to establish selling opportunities;
- Following up clients and ensuring need satisfaction with goods and services and resolving any problem
- Preparing sales report
- Maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred
- Analysing variances, market competition and competitors
- Coordinate sales activities and promotions with other employees and administrators of the Employer as well as customers and clients of the Employer with respect to their needs, concerns and schedules
- Always follows instructions including Biosecurity, HACCP, PPE, Work Health and Safety (WHS), COVID-19 health and safety measures, to managers and supervisors allocated for the purpose of your training
**Requirements**:
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with the sales staff, management and clients
- Strong communication and conversation skills
- Ability to be cooperative and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to verify, drafts, and update database quickly and accurately
- Ability to travel to customer's location
- Ability to learn Oracle ERP software
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints
- Ability to perform his or her job responsibilities as the workload fluctuates; multitask and keep projects progressing simultaneously
- Ability to be outgoing, courteous, genuine and approachable
- Ability to be self-confident and mature, with a positive attitude and approach to work
