Jetty Beach House Coffs Harbour is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
Our versatile space, atop of the ocean offers a dynamic array of services; from the bistro restaurant, to frequent weddings, conferences, functions and large-scale live music events.
An attractive remuneration will ensure your efforts are proportionally rewarded.
As a venue in a lifestyle location, we are also offering 5 weeks of paid holiday leave per year.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years experience as Head Chef.
Our ever expanding hospitality group comprises an array of renowned venues, including fine and casual dining, located in Noosa Heads, Brisbane and Byron Bay.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Develop inspiring menus for our bistro restaurant and our events packages.
Recruit new talent and build on the existing team.
Develop a positive working environment.
Lead and manage the kitchen team while working within KPI's.
Manage food quality, portion control and presentation.
Oversee both the execution of bistro service and functions.
Skills and experience:
High emotional intelligence with strong people management skills.
Proven experience managing a fast-paced, multifaceted kitchen successfully.
Attention to detail and quality control.
Understanding of costing and profits.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
