As demand continues to grow, we're looking to add a
Talent Acquisition Officer
to our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying and engaging top Engineering and ICT talent to support critical Defence projects across Australia - directly contributing to the growth of national Defence capability.
The Talent Acquisition Officer will be tasked with supporting the recruitment for both ICT and Engineering roles. Importantly, you will be working to support the growth of key projects in the Defence sector across Australia and in turn, the growth of Defence Capability

The Role
You'll support end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of Defence ICT and Engineering roles, partnering closely with business leaders and project teams to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Identifying and engaging talent across Defence, Engineering and ICT disciplines
* Sourcing candidates nationally for a broad range of Defence projects
* Partnering with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies aligned to project needs
* Supporting bid teams by providing HR input and SME insight on talent availability
* Working with line managers to interview and identify talent through referrals and networks
* Collaborating as part of a high-performing HR and recruitment team
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business outcome
Skills & Experience
We're open to a range of backgrounds, provided you bring energy, initiative and a genuine interest in Defence.
You'll Ideally Have
* Recruitment experience (internal preferred, but not essential)
* OR ex-ADF personnel keen to remain involved in Defence, with experience in recruitment, sales, or project support
* A passion for Defence and technical environments
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* An outcome-focused mindset with attention to detail
* A solid understanding of recruitment processes
* The ability to think creatively and apply innovative sourcing approaches
