Toowoomba Coffee House is looking for an energetic and proactive Casual Café All-rounder to join our team. We value a strong work ethic and a positive attitude above all else. We need someone who doesn't just wait for instructions but takes ownership of the shop's cleanliness and customer experience.
[Key Responsibilities]
* Customer Service: Greeting customers with a bright smile, taking orders efficiently, and managing the till.
* Beverage & Food Prep: Preparing high-quality coffee, tea, and simple food items.
* Proactive Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintaining a spotless environment. This includes:
* Scrubbing all sinks (dishwashing and handwashing) daily with an iron brush.
* Cleaning blenders (inside with a sponge), cabinets, beverage fridges, and menu books.
* Wiping the main door glass with hand towels to ensure no water streaks.
* Managing the dining area by checking sofa cushions, wiping sofas, and tidying chairs after customers leave.
* Daily restroom maintenance including floor mopping and thorough toilet cleaning.
* Stock Management: Monitoring and replenishing stock/supplies during quiet periods.
